PhoneArena presents a thorough video comparison of the Motorola DROID 2 and HTC Droid Incredible. Looking at the current selection of Android smartphones in the US market, there is no arguing that Verizon Wireless is in possession of some of the best ones out there right now — with each new release seemingly outdoing the previous. It was only a few months ago when the HTC Droid Incredible was hailed as the next flagship Android device for Big Red, but as we’ve seen many times already since then, the tide quickly changed as the carrier was indomitably graced with additional devices with the DROID moniker. The Motorola DROID 2 quickly … For more details, check out our full comparison: www.phonearena.com
PhoneArena presents a brief comparison of the Motorola DROID RAZR and Samsung Galaxy S II. For the umpteenth time it’s going to be tough as nails to choose a smartphone this holiday season, since the companies again saved their most potent gunpowder for the last quarter. Tweet: clicktotweet.com Today, we take a look a the Droid Bionic by Motorola. This phone was one of the first successful dual-core phones out there. It downloads pages and videos at a stellar speed. The display is 4.3″ and is easy to use and navigate. This phone is running Gingerbread (2.3.4), but has been confirmed that it will run ICS in the future. Now, lets talk a little bit more about specifications. The Bionic features 4G LTE, 1 GB of RAM and 1 GHz Dual-Core Processor. When you mix all these together you get one of the best browsing experiences. Also, where I live Verizon is coverage heavily and 4G LTE is present. In terms of camera, the phone features a 8 Mega-Pixel camera that shoots stunning stills. For video the phone can shoot in 1080p and can be altered to 720p. In the end, you’re presented with two situations. If you enjoy Gingerbread, the features on the Droid Bionic and can wait for ICS to come out in the future, then go with the phone (You’ll love it). But, if you really want the latest and greatest phone that runs ICS then I wouldn’t recommend this phone. They’re tons of other options that can cost less and have better specifications. The Droid Bionic retails for $99.99 on Verizon’s website and in stores it goes for $149.99. MobileBurn.com – The Motorola Titanium is the latest Android smartphone available for Sprint’s iDEN-powered Nextel network. It has a 3.1-inch display and a portrait QWERTY keyboard, and sports a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, but no HD video. It meets military specifications for dust, shock, vibration, and high and low temperature exposure. The Titanium unfortunately runs Android 2.1 Eclair and has a slow 500MHz processor that does it no favors when trying to get things done. It is also hampered by the extremely slow data speeds that Nextel’s iDEN network offers. Most consumers will pass on this one, but it will appeal to those business users who are looking for a smartphone but need the push-to-talk features of iDEN. More info: www.mobileburn.com
